Exhibition showcases fine art works by typical Asian artists

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong affirmed that in recent years, Vietnamese artists regularly participate in the art exchanges in the region and the world, bringing positive effects, promoting exchanges, stimulating creativity and connecting Vietnamese art with the world.

The exhibition is a special international art event, held in Hanoifor the first time, contributing to showing the spirit of integration, enhancing understanding, and sharing their passionbetween Asian artists.

The event introduces to the public 81 works by 27 aritsts from 13 Asian countries and territories including: Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Eight Vietnamese artists participating in the exhibition include: Dang Xuan Hoa, Tran Luu Hau, Le Quang Ha, Do Hoang Tuong, Ta Quang Bao, Le Lang Luong, Khong Do Tuyen and Tran Van An.

Works by Vietnamese artists are composed in a variety of art types, including installation, sculpture and painting, while foreign artists mainly introduce their paintings.

The exhibition is an opportunity for Vietnamese art lovers to admire the paintings and sculptures of outstanding Asian artists and sculptors with many art styles, showing their richness, diverse, unique Asian artists’ culture.

The exhibition contributes to enhancing the international cooperation in the field of fine arts between Vietnam and other countries in the region.
