Peruvian Cuisine Week in Vietnam kicks off on October 24

The event will provide a unique opportunity for businesses, F&B representatives, and culinary enthusiasts in the capital to explore the potential for further development in the South American nation while enjoying the flavors of traditional dishes, cocktails, and the exquisite taste of Peruvian specialty coffee.

The culinary week will be organized by the Embassy of Peru in Vietnam in collaboration with Á Âu Vocational Guidance and Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, which will feature special activities such as cooking and mixology classes for students, as well as demonstrations of Peruvian cuisine.

Participants will have the chance to experience the enticing array of flavors of famous dishes prepared by Peruvian chef Jose Maria Murga Brescia at the Oven D’or Restaurant of Sheraton Hanoi Hotel.

From 2012 to 2023, the World Travel Awards organization has nominated Peru 10 times on the list of the world’s top culinary tourism destinations. Peru has also been honored in the category of top culinary tourism destination in South America.

In 2022, the South American nation brought home the title of the world’s leading culinary destination for the fourth time.
