Vietnam Weather Update (Dec 26): Hanoi Experiences Record Low Temperature

The weather forecast in different regions

Northwest region: The weather will be cloudy and foggy in the early morning, with sunny during the day. The temperature is freezing with low temperature. Lowest temperature: 8-11 degrees, some places below 6 degrees. Highest temperature: 16-19 degrees.

Northeast region: The weather forecast predicts cloudy weather with no rain at night, and foggy in the early morning. The temperature is extremely cold, especially in the mountainous areas. Lowest temperature: 8-11 degrees, mountainous areas 5-8 degrees. Highest temperature: 15-18 degrees, some places above 18 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather will be cloudy and foggy in some places in the early morning, and sunny during the day. The temperature is cold, especially on the north side. Lowest temperature: North 11-13 degrees; South 13-15 degrees. Highest temperature: 15-18 degrees.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: Cloudy, with moderate to heavy rain in some places. Coastal areas are level 3-4, and some places have strong winds at levels 7-8. Lowest temperature: 17-20 degrees in the North, 21-24 degrees in the South. Highest temperature: 20-23 degrees in the North, 25-27 degrees in the South, and 27-30 degrees in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.

The Central Highlands: The weather is cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in some places. Cold at night. Lowest temperature: 17-20 degrees. Highest temperature: 24-27 degrees.

The Southern region: Cloudy with moderate to heavy rain in some places. The lowest temperature is 22-25 degrees, in the East there are places below 22 degrees. The highest temperature is 29-32 degrees; some places in the East are above 32 degrees.

The weather forecast in big cities

Hanoi: Less cloudy and foggy in the early morning, with no rain at night. Northeast wind level 2-3. The weather is cold. Lowest temperature: 9-11 degrees. Highest temperature: 17-19 degrees.

Ho Chi Minh City: The Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Station said that on December 26, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City is cloudy with no rain at night sunny during the day, and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening.
